WWDD?

Robert and I are no fans of television(watching) but there are certain TV-shows that we do really love. We watch them on DVD so as to have the freedom to watch when and how many we want, and of course, to dodge the horrible advertising that otherwise blurts out at the viewers of TV. We are big fans of House, Six Feet Under, Huff, our local Texas show Friday Nights Lights, and now are about to start the 2nd season of Dexter. In light of all that is going on here in Belgium as a result of Friday's horrible event, I can't help but wonder "What Would Dexter Do?" Seriously, we NEED a Dexter!

Hurray for DVDs! We've watched several seasons of House; the entire run of Star Trek: Enterprise; all of Battlestar Galactica (the newer one) to date; lots of A Bit of Fry and Laurie; all of Weeds to date (this with our friends); and all of Sex and the City (again with our friends). I don't know where in this we'll find our heroes, but it's amazing how much better the shows are without the commercials. You wonder why the networks don't just pack it in and sell the series directly.

Well we just found out that there is no 2nd season of Dexter to be had on DVD! At least 6 more months! Oh no. I could download them of course, but also don't really feel like watching them on my computer. Anyway, on a more serious note, I really did mean that societies need people like Dexter, the vigilantes killing the really bad guys and who cannot be caught by the cops and moreover, whom the cops don't want to catch. The premise behind Dexter is a simple one, but damn it's intriguing!

Ok, I've heard so much praise now for Dexter that I have to start watching! I always secretly wish for an all knowing all powerful hero to clean up the evil in the world

Guess we'd all love a hero to clean up the evil in the world,
but for the time being, I think we'll be on our own for a long while to come.

Much like yourself I love DVD collection boxes (no commercials!), although I recently got myself digital TV and hey presto:
many new top series on demand!
(Obviously, at a price)
